Shooting Script (Initial Draft)

Soft classical music begins to play (Moonlight Sonata or Andare).

The film opens with a shot of the sky. The title appear on the sky 'Charade Productions'. The sky is blue and there are clouds passing overhead as well as birds flying past a tall green tree with leaves falling into the camera. Camera flickers to ceiling of room.

Slow motion, leaves fall and turn to show credits on other side of them.
or
credits appear on passing clouds.


The camera rotates backwards to shot of Dante, with the camera looking down at character. Dante is lying with his hands behind his head. We hear Dante begin the monologue as the camera begins to flicker between the character lying on the ground and lying on his bed.


Dante.(During Last Paragraph)

"Elysium, the drug used to enhance abilities, help intake information and amplify talents to a whole new level. Unfortunately they didn't tell us about the side effects.
With a small dose, it does what it says on the tin. Longer memory, larger information intake, it was the drug to cure all illnesses. Cancer, Dementia, Alzheimer's, all gone."


Cut to shot of ceiling in room, Walks to bathroom. 

Open to character standing in front of mirror.
Shot of character in mirror (over the shoulder), looking at himself, bloodshot eyes. 
Cut to shot in mirror looking out at character.
Character washes hands, character looks up at mirror then down at sink, looks up and eyes are bleeding, takes drugs, looks down at sink, closes eyes.

Dante. (During Last Paragraph)
"Until people starting becoming greedy. It started with a few cases on the news, of people overdosing, but no one thought it would be them. 
With a medium dose, you are transported to a tranquil peaceful land in your mind.
With a large dose, well, I like to call it Limbo. You're trapped in a land to face inner demons, nightmares and fears."


Opens eyes, Cuts to park in first person (sin city effect)

Camera spins around park, zooms out to long shot or zoom in to extreme close up of eyes. 


Camera blacks.
Title.
